In his first year and a half in the financial services industry, he attained his Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations, and has become a Financial Advisor.
Steve graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Management, and he is a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is married to Ashlea and they have a daughter, Addy Grace, who was born in April of 2008. Ashlea is a registered nurse and works at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. Steve is a board member with Teen Challenge of Memphis, which is a national faith-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors which is a lobbying group fighting to maintain and uphold the laws and values of the financial services industry. Outside of work, Steve is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for a Christian rock band called Vertical Lift, and he enjoys virtually all outdoor activities including soccer, mountain biking, white water kayaking, and snow skiing.
